Obituary

Fort Kent --- Ronald Pelletier, 83, passed away on August 21, 2018 at a Bangor health care facility. He was born in Fort Kent on November 6, 1934 a son of the late Alyre and Catherine (Roy) Pelletier. Ronald  is survived by two daughters, Linda and her husband Maurice Bard of Fort Kent, Barbara and her husband Gerald Pelletier of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Scott Pelletier of Fort Kent, Steve and his wife Erin Pelletier of Bangor, Pamela Bouchard  and her husband Chris of Saco, Maureen Charette and her husband Sonny of Fort Kent; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Pelletier of Fort Kent, Gilman Pelletier of Fort Kent, Alyre Pelletier Jr. of New Hampshire, and Norman Pelletier of Florida; four sisters, Beatrice Bourgoine of Caribou, Rena Mae Bard of Connecticut, Doris Bard of Caribou, and Lorraine Dickinson of Presque Isle; along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by beloved wife Gilda Pelletier; one brother, Clarence Pelletier; and two sisters, Mae Michaud and Lucienne Dufour. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 8:30am until 9:45am at the Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ronald's name may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
