Wallagrass --- Ronald Pinette, 83, passed away at his residence on October 27, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born on May 20, 1936, son of the late Josephel and Lillian (Laferriere) Pinette. Ron will be remembered as a dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather. He had a strong work ethic and instilled that into his children and grandchildren. He was meticulous with his lawn, yard, and vehicles. People knew Ron as a kind and gentle man with a big heart. He was strong in his faith and was an active communicant of the St. Joseph Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mona (Saucier) Pinette, three children, Steve and his wife Debra Chaloux, Donna Guerette and her husband Stephen all of Scarborough, and Patty Michaud and her husband Keith of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren, Nicole Chaloux-Pinette and her husband Dan Murphy, Karissa Acciardo and her husband Stephen, Billy Michaud and his fiancé Brittany Theriault, Emma Chaloux-Pinette, Darren Guerette, Charles Michaud and his wife Camryn, and Katherine Michaud; and one great-granddaughter Madilyn expected in November; one brother, John Pinette of Biddeford; along with many nieces, nephews, and one special friend, Ron's beloved dog, Lacey. Ron was predeceased by one son, Dean Pinette; four siblings, Carl Pinette, Myrtle Martin, Norma Belanger, and Dana Pinette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday November 2, 2019 at the St. Joseph Church in Soldier Pond. Family and friends may call from 5-8pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home in Fort Kent. In keeping with the family's wishes there will be no calling hours the morning of the service. The family would like to thank the Northern Maine Medical Center Oncology Department for their dedication, love and support in Ron's care. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron's memory may be made in support of the Oncology Department at the Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 E. Main Street, Fort Kent, ME 04743.
