Madawaska---Ronaldo J. Gervais, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 09, 2011 at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in Frenchville, May 16, 1935, the son of Joseph F. and Mary J. (Madore) Gervais. He is survived by his daughter, Mona Chamberland and her husband Danny of Nashua, NH; one son, Roger Gervais and his wife Sandra of Grand Isle; four grandchildren, Joy Chamberland Lawrence, Sarah Chamberland St. Cyr, Stacy Gervais, Justin Chamberland; eleven siblings, Sylvia Roy, Edwina Bellefleur, Sylva Gervais, Aurella Morin, Gilmay Bouchard, Cecile Parent Juliette Sirois, Bern Blais, Lucy Boucher, Paul Gervais, MarieMae Levesque. He was predeceased by one sister, Lillian Michaud and by two brothers, Lawrence Gervais, Sr. and Patrick Gervais. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, January 14 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Thursday and from 9am until time of service on Friday. Interment will be in the spring.
