Obituary

Grand Isle--- Ronnie "Noune" Beaulieu, 61, passed unexpectedly April 23, 2025, at a Bangor hospital, following a short illness. He was born October 14, 1963 in Hartford, CT, a son of Viola (Chasse) Beaulieu and the late Ronaldo Beaulieu, and raised in Grand Isle.

Ronnie was a volunteer with Grand Isle Fire Department for almost 45 years. He dedicated his life to fighting fires in and around his community and always loved to upkeep and clean the firetrucks and equipment. He and his cousin, Flo, also helped set up many of the fire department's events, including the 9/11 Tribute, every year. Ronnie worked as a truck driver with Albert Farms for almost 30 years, most of which was over the road trucking and later tended to the truck deliveries around the paper mill. He loved riding four-wheeler and would attend many of events in the St. John Valley.

He is survived by his son, Derek Beaulieu of Caribou; his mother Viola Beaulieu and her longtime companion, Andre Levesque of Grand Isle; one sister Mona Sirois and her husband James of Madawaska; many firefighter brothers and sisters; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
