Fort Kent--- Rosaline Babin, 83, peacefully entered through the Gates of Heaven July 8, 2023, with her family at her side. She was born April 20, 1940 in Fort Kent, a daughter of the late Arthur and Amanda (St. Onge) Soucy.

Rosaline was a devoted mother and wife, and she cherished being available to raise her growing family. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary of Caribou, American Legion Auxiliary, the Columbiettes, and the Ladies of St. Anne, all in Fort Kent. Rosaline loved her family and friends, and she certainly had many! Rose and her family humbly express their gratitude to the many people who assisted with her health and wellbeing over the last several years, especially the many relationships she had with the nurses and staff at St. Joseph Memory Care, Frenchville.

She is survived by three children, Patrick Daigle of Colorado, Anne Pinette of St. Francois, NB, Canada, and Diane Raymond of Fort Kent; multiple grandchildren, Kristy, Daisy, Joel, Patrick, Asha, Katie Rose, Jake, Cheyenna, Franklin, Registe; numerous great grandchildren, Abigail Rose, Emily, Madison Rose, Elijah, Callie, Cedric, Kevin, Hylia and Benjamin; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rosaline was predeceased by her first husband, Joel R. Daigle in 1978, her second husband, David Babin Jr. in 2013, and siblings Richard Soucy, Jeanette Madore and Florence Pelletier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
