Obituary

Fort Kent --- Rose Piasecki, 102, passed away on January 8, 2019 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Fort Kent on March 5, 1916, daughter of the late Alcime and Laura Saucier. She is survived by her two brothers, Andrew Saucier of Connecticut, and Fernando Saucier of Florida. She is predeceased by her spouses Willard Toussaint in 1943 and Peter Piasecki in 1991; nine siblings, Alvine, Odile, Leonide, Claude, Mary Ann, Alcide, Camille, Hubert, Germaine; along with many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. In keeping with Rose's wishes calling hours will be held privately at the convenience of the family. If one may choose, contributions in Rose's memory may be made to the Forest Hill Manor Activity Fund, 25 Bolduc Avenue, Fort Kent, ME, 04743.
