Madawaska---Rowena Dumond, 90, passed away on December 16, 2022, at her home in Madawaska.  She was born in St. Francoise, New Brunswick on January 23, 1932, daughter of the late Elude and Mary (Lee) Pelletier.  Rowena was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and became a member of the Daughters of Isabella in 1970.  She is survived by her six children, Donald Dumond and his wife Elaine of Madawaska, Shirley Rossi and her husband Angelo of Danbury, CT, Joyce Pelletier of St. Basile, New Brunswick, Donna Gervais and her husband Joseph of West Rutland, VT, Jerry Dumond and his wife Mary of Frenchville, Brenda Beaulieu and her husband Keith of Poland, ME; six grandchildren, Kimberly Ouellette, Andrew Gervais, Joshua Dumond, Aaron Montague, Ashley Troiano, Aaron Beaulieu; twelve great grandchildren, Emily, Kristen, Andrew, Caleb, Cadence, Pheonix, Charlie, Callum, Aubrey, Sierra, Nicole, Hayley; one great great grandchild, Daylen; many nieces and nephews.  Rowena was predeceased by her husband, Conrad Dumond; her son-in-law, Maurice Pelletier.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  There will be no visiting hour or receiving line.  Spring interment will be held in the Parish cemetery.
