Obituary
Van Buren--- Rudolpe Dionne Sr., 80, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at a Caribou hospital. He was born August 23, 1937 in St. Anne, NB, Canada, a son of the late Philleppe and Olive (Martin) Dionne.
He worked several years in Connecticut for various factories but spent his entire life in Van Buren. He enjoyed spending his time home and visiting his family.
He is survived by: his wife and companion of 17 years, Doria (Cyr) Violette of Van Buren; seven sons, David Dionne and wife Darlene, Ronald Dionne and his wife Lisa, all of Connecticut, Mark Dionne and his wife Debbie of Kentucky, Michael Dionne and his wife Cindy of Van Buren, Richard Dionne and his wife Carrie, Donald Dionne all of Connecticut, and Rudolpe Dionne Jr. and his wife Kim of Indiana; two daughters, Diane Barbosa and her husband Armando and Susan Dionne, all of Connecticut; his siblings, Martin, Conrad, Willie, Jean, Jeannette, Candidat, Cecile, and Jacqueline; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Scott Dionne.
At Rudy's request, funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
