IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ryan D.
Cyr
January 24, 1994 – October 10, 2022
Ashland--- Ryan D. Cyr, 28, passed unexpectedly Monday, October 10, 2022, at his home, following an acute asthma attack. He was born January 24, 1994 in Presque Isle, a son of Samantha (Dunifer) Thibodeau and the late David P. Cyr.
Ryan was a fantastic father and adored caring for his son and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is fondly remembered by his family and friends, near and far, for his contagious laugh and infectious smile, brightening even their worst days. He was working as a debarker at Daaquam Mill, Masardis for the last several years, and he previously worked for Ashland's former MooseWoods Millworks. When he could, Ryan loved playing Xbox, well known in his gamer community as Fir3m4n420, and could grind hours playing and discording with NBA-2K and Call of Duty.
His jokes and personality are lovingly remembered by his son, David James Cyr; his mother, Samantha Thibodeau and her husband Roland Jr. of Caribou; Ryan's beloved girlfriend, Shelby Stolze, of Ashland; his siblings and those he considered his closest family, Erica Cyr of Ashland, Nicole Thibodeau of Caribou, Melinda McCarthy of New Hampshire, Brittney Thibodeau of Newport, Roland Thibodeau III of Woodland, Alexis Thibodeau and Katelynn Thibodeau, both of Caribou; his nieces and nephews, Eliza Anne Casey, Vance Cousins, and Michael and Claire McCarthy; his best friends whom he ALWAYS kept out of mischief, Bob and Anthony; close family friends, Mark Howe and Jennifer Howe; and a slew of his extended family, friends, and workmates spread all over.
Ryan was predeceased by his father, David Cyr, in 2015.
A Celebration of Ryan's Life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Ashland's Recreation Center, Exchange Street, Ashland.
