IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sherry Marie
Deschaine
December 22, 1966 – November 22, 2024
Madawaska--- Sherry Deschaine, 57, peacefully passed away November 22, 2024, at her home with her family at her side, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Glastonbury, CT, on December 22, 1966, a daughter of the late Jean King Thibeault and stepdaughter of the late Gerald King.
Sherry last worked in security with Twin Rivers Mill for several years, until her medical retirement. Previously Sherry worked in the Madawaska McDonalds for almost 10 years acting as their manager. Sherry loved the outdoors and embraced any free moment she had camping and riding motorcycle all over the beautiful St. John Valley. When she wasn't soaking in the fresh air, she adored spending time with her large family and hosting humongous barbeques and playing cards late into the evening.
She is lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 19 years, Scott Deschaine of Madawaska; five children, Jason Felice, Jaime Olmo and her husband Ben, Stephanie Baraby and her companion Elvin Ortiz, all of Connecticut, Paul Frazier of Presque Isle, and Destiny Byram and her husband Coty of Madawaska; one brother, John Ashline of Caribou; seven grandchildren, Savannah, Jason Jr., Vinnie, Richie, Mila, Pheonix, and Nora; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Bruce Ashline.
At Sherry's request, funeral services were held privately. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Ave., Madawaska. To share condolences online, please visit www.LajoieFuneralHome.com
