Madawaska---Simone F. Bouchard, 79, passed away on December 13, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on March 5, 1936, daughter of the late Firmin and Lydia (Lagasse) Bouchard.  Simone was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Ladies of St. Anne, Daughters of Isabella, and Red Hat Society.  She is survived by four children, Danny Bouchard and his wife Giselle of Terryville, CT, Nancy Michaud and her husband Paul of Madawaska, Andy Bouchard and his wife Diane of Terryville, CT, Karen Morneault and her husband Doug of Madawaska; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anne Pelletier and her husband Andre, Lucienne Levesque, Bernadette Pelletier all of Edmundston, N.B.; many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Monday and from 9am until 9:45am on Tuesday before the service.  Spring interment will take place at St. Luce Cemetery in Frenchville.
