Van Buren--- Sylvia M. Levesque, 71, peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. She was born May 24, 1949 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Roy and Matilda (Lavoie) LaBreck.

Sylvia worked as a housekeeper at former Brookside Manor and Lounge, a kitchen aide at Borderview Rehab and Nursing and Van Buren Schools. She also worked the potato harvest for many years with Parent Farms, Hamlin, and area farmers. She was a dedicated mother and loved to have her family close by.

She is survived by: three daughters, Karen Levesque, Tracy Lebel and her husband Jim, and Kelly Levesque, all of Van Buren; several siblings; two grandchildren, Brittany and Kora; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her husband, Robert Levesque, on August 21, 2020.

Funeral services were held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
