Washburn--- Sylvia M. Violette, 76, passed away peacefully Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born February 2, 1944 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late G. George Violette and the late Gladys (Bishop).

Sylvia worked as a packer and processer for McCain Frozen Foods in Washburn and Easton for many years, until her retirement in 2002.

She is survived by: three children, Scott Jordan and Thomas Jordan Jr., both of Washburn, and Jackie Jordan of Auburn; three grandchildren, Bridget, Abigail, and Ethan; one sister, Jeannette Jones of Corinna; close family friends, Joseph and Melvin McPherson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by many siblings.
