Madawaska---Thelma M. Gervais, 74, passed away on April 15, 2011 at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Van Buren on August 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Emile and Elise (Morin) Morin. Thelma is survived by one daughter, Mona (Gervais) Chamberland and her husband Danny of Nashua, NH; one son, Roger Gervais and his wife Sandra (Beaulieu) of Grand Isle; four grandchildren, Joy (Chamberland) Lawrence and her husband Gary of Merrimack, NH, Sarah (Chamberland) St. Cyr and her husband Tim of Manchester, NH, Stacy Gervais of St. David, and Justin Chamberland of Nashua, NH; two sisters, Viola Ouellette and Benita Ouellette and her husband Gerard all of Lille; one brother, Gilman Morin and his wife Aurella of Van Buren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one step brother, Madore Parent; two step-sisters, Freda and Joanne Corriveau; one brother, Tis Ron Morin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, April 19 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30am until time of service on Tuesday. Interment will be held in the Parish cemetery later in the spring.
