Theresa "Geraldine" Lavoie made it home safely on March 10th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, just as she was in life. She was born on September 3, 1941, in Grand Isle, Maine to Gedeon and Ida Levesque. She graduated from Madawaska High School in 1959 and went on to marry the love of her life, Reginald Lavoie. Together, they shared 58 wonderful years and 3 children, Brenda, Gean and Carol.  "Geraldine" as she was affectionately known, was grace, resilience, loyalty, and love personified; she was a sweet soul who was adored by all that knew her. Dinner dates with her sisters and time spent with her large family was everything to her.  She is survived by her children, Brenda Voter (Tom Pelletier), Gean Lavoie, and Carol (Steve Cyr); her grandchildren: Dennis Voter, Chrissy Voter, Aaron (Heidi Lavoie), Lindsey (Nathan Desrosier) and Craig Cyr; great grandkids: Jaeda, Makayla, Beckett, Dawson, Raelynn, Camden and Olivier; siblings; Muriel Mowen, Carol Waltman, Nenette (Robert Guerrette), Roland (Betty Levesque), Vernon (Dianne Levesque), Lena (Ron Sirios), Denis (Phyllis Levesque), Hermon (Marie Levesque), Diane (Joe Tracy) and many, many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Lavoie; her parents, Gedeon and Ida Levesque; her siblings Marius (Ti Num) Levesque, Jeannine Wilkie Peck, Jacqueline Belanger, Roger Levesque, Armand Levesque, Donald Levesque, Leo James "Jim" Levesque and Michael Levesque.  A celebration of her life will occur at 10am on Monday, March 18th, 2024, at St. Gerard's Catholic Church in Grand Isle, Maine with a burial in the spring to follow.  There will be a receiving line at the church from 9am until 9:45am on Monday before the Mass.
