Eagle Lake---Theresa M. Soucy, 89, passed away on January 17, 2025, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Eagle Lake on June 14, 1935, daughter of the late Phydime and Natalie (Pelletier) Pelletier.  In her spare time, she enjoyed making quilts for her family.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren at the camp, "counting the waves".  She is survived by six children, Barbara Labbe and her husband Paul "Buzz" of Florida, Ronald Soucy and his wife Margaret of Eagle Lake, Russell Soucy and his wife Connie of Eagle Lake, John Soucy and his wife Jenny of Florida, Ann Madore and her husband James of Eagle Lake, Paul Soucy and his wife Jennie of Eagle Lake; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; four sisters, Norma Blanchette of New York, Margaret Castonguay of Florida, Bernadette Levesque of Connecticut, and Lucille Morin of Connecticut ; one brother, Jay Pelletier of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Cpl. Edwin R. Soucy; one grandchild, Daniel Soucy; seven siblings, Phydime, Jr., Alfred, Norman, Patrick, Paul, Roland, Bertha Tardie.  The Soucy family would like to thank the staff at Forest Hill Nursing Home, for the excellent care given to our mom.  She thought of them all as her own family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on July 7, 2025, at the St. Mary's Church in Eagle Lake.  Interment will be held in the Parish cemetery immediately following the Mass.
