Fort Kent--- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Therese "Terry" L. Caron, 78, on Monday. November 6, 2023.  Aunt Terry lived a faith filled life and she was a kindred spirit to so many.  She loved her God and her family so very much.  She also loved music, especially French music and was a great scholar and avid reader.

Terry is survived by two brothers, Reno Caron and his wife Martha of Washington State and Roger Caron and his wife Marie from Pennsylvania, as well as a sister-in-law Barbara Caron of Mars Hill.  She was predeceased by her parents, Omer and Mary Ann (Bouley) Caron,  two sisters, Francis Sheppard and Dolores Plourde, and four brothers Paul, John, David and Michael. She was never blessed with children of her own but looked at her many nieces and nephews as her own children, especially Janice, Rebecca, Louise and Bonnie.

We wish to acknowledge the staff at Westgate Center in Bangor for the excellent care that they have provided Aunt Terry over the past 5 years.  Also, special thanks to Helen Soper R.N. and Chaplain Carol from Hospice.  We appreciate the care and compassion they provided near the end of her life.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Church in Fort Kent, Maine.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 383 U.S. Route 1, Suite 2C, Scarborough, Maine 04074.
