Madawaska---Therese Cyr, 83, passed away, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Madawaska on July 29, 1929 daughter of the late Eugene and Egline (Michaud) Michaud. Therese enjoyed knitting, making slippers and potholders. She also liked to make ceramics and spending time in her garden. She is survived by three children, Lionel Joseph Cyr and his wife Elizabeth of Connecitcut, Barbara Cyr Chase and her husband Steve of Naples, FL, and Linda Cyr of Madawaska; three grandchildren, Brett, Danny, and Shawn; four great grandchildren, Kylee, Mallory, Courtney Cyr, and Shelby Ursin; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Levite J. Cyr; three grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Kobyluck, Travis Ursin, Chucky Ursin, II. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held 10am on Saturday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Spring interment will be held at the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
