St. David-- Therese (Cyr) Martin of St. David, Maine went home to be with the lord peacefully in her sleep on December 26, 2020 at the age of 75 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Therese was born on July 30, 1945 in Riviere Verte, New Brunswick, Canada.  She was the daughter of Jeanette (Theriault) and Albert Joe Cyr. Therese was a beautician by trade and enjoyed working in her little beauty shop until her retirement.  She also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.  She was an excellent cook in the kitchen, but in our family, she was known for her sweets, and everybody looked forward to her Christmas sweets platters. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years Aldeo, her son Mario and his wife Christine of New Milford Connecticut, daughter Sandra and husband James Kosinski of Reno Nevada, and son Keith and his wife Lori of Madawaska Maine, 6 grandchildren – Samantha, Scott, and Alex Martin, Vanessa Kosinski, Kaitlyn and Allyson Martin.  Therese is survived by her brothers and sisters, Gerald (Helen) Cyr, Yvon (Rose) Cyr, Rene Cyr, Ronald (Cecile)Cyr, Gilles Cyr and his companion Sharon, Gilbert Cyr,  Lise (Will) Godin, Pauline (Cyr) Nadeau, and Aline Cyr.   Therese was predeceased by a brother, Roger Cyr, sister Jeanne (Cyr) Wallace, and brother in law Gerry Nadeau.
