Van Buren & St. Basile, NB--- Therese S. Martin, 58, died peacefully January 2, 2015 in St. Basile, NB, Canada. She was born October 28, 1956 in Grand Falls, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Emile and Corinne (Violette) Martin. Disabled since birth, Therese enjoyed seeing the loving, familiar faces of her visiting family and friends. Weather permitting, she cherished time spent outdoors in nature. She is survived by two sisters, Emelie Martin & Rose Martin, both of Van Buren, several aunts and uncles, and many cousins. Besides her parents, Therese is predeceased by several aunts and uncles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relative and friends may greet the family Wednesday morning, 9-10:30AM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
