Fort Kent—Thomas 'Tom' Gagnon, 65, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2021 with family by his side, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born on June 28, 1956, son of the late Edmund J. and Gladys (Michaud) Gagnon. Tom was a talented mechanic and was known as "Mr. Fix All". People would drop off things at the house everyday so Tom could fix it. He laughed at people who used duct tape, since that's the 'easy' way out. Tom is survived by his long time partner of 24 years, Ellen Deschaine of New Canada; three children, Kylie Gagnon of Connecticut, Jamie Gagnon of California, and Travis Gagnon and his companion Brenna of Bangor; three sisters, Dinah Gagnon of Fort Kent, Brenda Voisine and her husband Dana of Scarborough, Marilyn Pinette and her deceased husband Dana of Fort Kent; Two brothers, Ricky Gagnon of Fort Kent, Robert Gagnon and his wife Karen of St. Francis; Five grandchildren, Madison, Kameron, Connor, Mason, and Haley. Tom is predeceased by his parents Edmund J. and Gladys (Michaud) Gagnon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 5, 2021, 10am, at St. Joseph Church in Soldier Pond. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
