Fort Kent--Tina Bourgoin Michaud, born on July 6, 1964, in Fort Kent, Maine, passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on July 16, 2024, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Tina was the cherished child of Nelson and Armande Bourgoin and the beloved wife of Patrick Michaud.

Tina was a dedicated and hardworking individual, known for her tireless work ethic and commitment to providing for her family. Outside of work, Tina had a passion for adventure, particularly enjoying ATV riding and boating. Her love for the outdoors was contagious, and she often shared these experiences with family and friends, creating countless treasured memories.

Tina was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Corey Bourgoin, husband of Alecia Bourgoin of Wallagrass, Maine. Their bond was a beautiful and enduring connection, characterized by unconditional love, deep understanding, and unwavering support. Throughout Corey's life, Tina was his first teacher, his most ardent supporter, and his constant source of comfort. She celebrated his achievements with pride and stood by him in times of need, offering wisdom and encouragement. It was a relationship built on a foundation of shared memories, mutual respect, and a deep emotional connection that words alone cannot fully capture.

Their relationship was also marked by shared experiences, especially the arrival of Emmett Bourgoin and Hazel Grace Bourgoin, her grandchildren. Tina found immense joy in spending time with her family, always putting them first and ensuring they felt loved and supported. Tina's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was predeceased by her two sisters, Jenny Bernier, along with her late husband Clinton of Fort Kent, and her sister Robertine Babin also of Fort Kent. Because of her loving family she was also blessed with many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Tina's adventurous spirit, loving nature, and dedication to family and friends will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
