Wallagrass and Fort Kent--- Ulysses “June” Michaud Jr., 90, peacefully passed away August 12, 2026, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born September 13, 1935, in Wallagrass, a son of the late Ulysses Sr. and Yvonne (Belanger) Michaud.

June enlisted with the US Army and served in Germany before returning home. He worked many jobs in and around Fort Kent and Wallagrass and particularly enjoyed working with his family manufacturing wooden hangers and wood products.

He is survived by four children, Glenn, Wayne and Scott Michaud, and Tina Michaud-Ouellette; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, June was predeceased by all five of his siblings, Gladys Gagnon, Dorothy Bouchard, Claudette Freeman, Bernice Nelson, and James Michaud

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Louis Church, E. Main St., Fort Kent. There will be no calling hours.
