St. Francis--- Valeric "Gag" Nadeau, 84, passed away peacefully with his children by his side on August 25, 2020. He was born on December 17, 1935, son of the late Patrick and Essie (Pelletier) Nadeau. Valeric was a self-motivated man working the land, whether it be farming numerous cattle, or logging on his woodlots. His greatest accomplishment in life was his children, they were his pride and joy. He was a historian and loved to tell his children everything he knew about family genealogy and his experiences with the logging/farming industry.  Valeric is survived by his two siblings, Ronald Nadeau and Vernal Nadeau; seven children, Vicky Boucher and her husband Russell of Fort Kent, Valeric Nadeau Jr. and his companion Cheryl of Green, Benny Nadeau and his wife Tammy of St. Francis, Susan Nadeau of Cumberland, Billy Nadeau of St. Francis, Jacklyn Nadeau of Cumberland, Timmy Nadeau and his wife Sandra of Madawaska; nine grandchildren, Mckenzie, Ryan, Jamie, Dustin, Matthew, Andrea, Paige, Tommy, Alex; eight great grandchildren, Jameson, Asher, Charlette, Emmalyn, Eleanor, Rosalie, Julia Jane, Wilson; many nieces and nephews; Valeric is predeceased by his beautiful wife of 60 years, Becky (Larson) Nadeau; three siblings, Patricia Albert, Gene Perreault, Dawn Clavette; one grandson, JR Boucher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
