Madawaska---Verna (Charette) Beaulieu, 81, passed away at a Madawaska health care facility, surrounded by her family on January 12, 2012. She was born in Fort Kent on October 20, 1930, the daughter of Percy and Isabelle (Beaulieu) Charette. Verna is survived by three daughters, Yvette Plourde of Fort Kent, Diane Beaulieu, and Barbara Morin both of Madawaska; two sisters, Azilda Walker of Gorham, and Viola Charette of Connecticut; one brother, Joseph (Emile) Charette of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Verna was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Beaulieu; her only son, Roger Beaulieu; three brothers, Richard, Eddie, and Nelson Charette; two sisters, Linda Charette and Gloria Martin. A Word and Communion will be held 11am on Saturday, January 21 at the St. Thomas Church. Family and friends may gather at the church to offer their condolences from 10am until time of service on Saturday.
