Obituary

Fort Kent --- Vernon Ouellette, 54, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1966, son of Robert and Marte (Bouley) Ouellette, and step-father Gil Bouley. Vernon was a well-rounded musician, who played keyboard, bass, guitar, and sang. He played in two bands, "The Traveling Band", and "Undercover". He spent many days riding ATV up to Deboullie Mountain. Vernon is survived by his wife Alice (Parent) Ouellette of fourteen years, whom he loved dearly; three siblings, Glen Ouellette and his wife Jessica of Fort Kent, Dawn Stolliker and her husband Richard of Fort Kent, and Natasha Swanson and her husband Seth of Mapleton; four daughters, Yvonne of Lake Alfred, FL, Heather of Princeton, MN, Sarah of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and Marcey of Burlington, NC; four grandchildren, Kaila, Eric, Arabella, and Olivia; five nieces and nephews, Sawyer, Abbey, Emma, Judah, Finn. A Catholic Funeral Service and Burial will be celebrated privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
