Grand Isle---Veronica "Vicky" Kohr, 70, passed away on August 7, 2024, at a Caribou health care facility.  She was born in Van Buren on June 7, 1954, daughter of the late Normand and Carmen (Cyr) Daigle.  Vicky had such a zest for life and loved all of her family and friends with all of her heart.  She was a kind soul and enjoyed making friends.  She really enjoyed playing cards and making puzzles.  She is survived by her two children, Christopher Kohr of Colorado, and Jamie Kohr of Grand Isle; former spouse, Jeff Kohr of Colorado; five grandchildren, Josie, Hannah, Eliana, Kayla, Nikki; one great grandchild, Stella; one sister, Norma Gendreau and her husband Carl of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by one brother, Vernon Daigle.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle.  Relatives and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024.  There will be no visiting hours the morning before the Service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vicky's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
