Caswell, Maine & New Britain, CT--- Vincent J. Duprey Jr., 62, of Caswell, ME., formerly of New Britain, CT, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, following several years of medical issues.

Vincent and his wife Darlene relocated from New Britain, CT, to Canaan, ME and, later, Caswell, ME, which also served him and his family as a nice summer home. He worked several truck driving jobs in Connecticut and Maine, and, for a long time, he and his wife were an independent trucking team navigating across the United States. Vincent's passion was truck driving and genuinely enjoyed visiting many states and sites until his accident. He was an avid snowmobiler, four-wheeler, and spending hours with his wife, whom he enjoyed over 39 years of blissful marriage. He was always there to help anyone in need, whether in person or a long phone conversation.

He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife, Darlene (Tagariello) Duprey of Caswell, ME; two siblings, Dean Duprey and his wife Tammy of Plainville, CT, and Tammy Safford of New Britain, CT; a son, Vincent J. Duprey, III and his fiancé Jennifer Lingner of Terryville, CT; three grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Anne Cloukey and her husband Floyd, Donna Santos, and Deborah Hernandez; his Godchild, Joanann Jankovich; his best friend of over 38 years, Karl Gould; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends whom he loved in many special ways.

Vincent was preceded by his father Vincent, Sr., mother, Rose-Marie McNally and sister, Julie Weaving.

At Vincent's request, a memorial service was held privately. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, ME 04785.
