Frenchville --- Violette M. Picard, 78, passed away on October 2, 2018 at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born on January 21, 1940, daughter of the late Cezaire Doucet Byram and Andrew Byram. She is survived by two sons, Gerry Picard and his wife Susan of New Hampshire, Robert Picard and his partner Rachel Southworth of St. Agatha; three grandchildren, Felicia, Andrea, and Alissa; three great grandchildren , Graham, Jameson and Ronin; three siblings, Normand (Ruth) Doucet, Donald Byram, and Kathleen Pelletier, along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Edgar Picard, brother Norbert, and other family members . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, October 9, 20198 at the St. Thomas Church in Madawaska. Family and friends may call at the church from 9-9:45 the morning before the service. Interment will be held at the VA Cemetery in Caribou, at the convenience of the family.
