IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wayne G.
Gagnon
April 2, 1963 – July 5, 2023
Van Buren--- Wayne G. Gagnon, 60, passed away peacefully July 5, 2023 with his loving wife by his side. He was born April 2, 1963, in Patchogue, NY, a son of the late Aurele and Albertine (Soucy) Gagnon.
Wayne will be remembered more than anything for the man who loved his family. His "open door" policy led to many children finding their second home, and Wayne's children had the opportunity to "adopt" many new siblings over the years. When not doting on his family, Wayne could be seen casting lines into the many waters around the St. John Valley or tinkering in his garage on cars or building the next birdhouse or kitchen table. For many years, Wayne and his wife loved to take long drives to view the beautiful landscapes and catch the sunsets.
He is survived by his wife Debbie (Schmohl) Gagnon; two daughters, Andrea Cyr and her husband Dustin, and Alicia Allen and her husband Justin; one granddaughter, Annabella; five brothers, Alphee, David, Donald, Steve and Ricky; and his special extended family, which he loved like his own children and grandchildren, Scott, Sarah, Isaac, Victoria, Melissa, Benjamin, Emmett, Adrienne, Kinsley and Travis.
Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by one brother, Elmer, and one nephew Jacob.
The Gagnon family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to the physicians and staff at Pines Health and Cary Medical Center, especially Lindsey Desrosier, for their exceptional care and compassion during Wayne's several years of ill health.
In keeping with Wayne's wishes, memorial services were held privately.
