IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wendy
Pelletier
April 4, 1963 – June 12, 2022
Portland / Allagash-- Wendy Lea Pelletier, 59, passed away June 12, 2022 after a brief illness.
Wendy enjoyed the simple things in life, and you could always count on her wit and sense of humor to make you laugh. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, painting, writing, sewing and most of all, gardening her "blossoms". She was truly amazing at whatever she set her mind to in every way possible.
A Teacher/Principal by profession for many years, she helped mold the minds of young children and leave an ever-lasting impression on their lives. Many of whom considered her their "second mom". She later in life transitioned to being a cook at Crosswinds Residential Care, sharing her talents in the kitchen to prepare delicious meals for the elderly.
Undoubtedly, the greatest things in life were her two children whom she is survived by. Burke (Nicole) Perreault of Fort Kent, and Nicole (Derek) Anderson and granddaughter Ensley of Windham, ME. She was proud of her children beyond measure and made sure they knew it, always. Baking with Ensley was a cherished moment for Gram Gram as well, passing her knowledge along to "Miss E" or "Gram's Baby Girl". She is also survived by her Mother, Sylvia Jackson and was pre-deceased by her Father, Milton Pelletier. Her extra special friend of 17 years, Mr. BoBo, her cat, is left behind as well.
Her smile, unwavering love and support and humor will be missed beyond measure. She was one of a kind, a great friend and an even better Mother and Grandmother. In lieu of flowers, please donate to her granddaughters' education fund, Crosswinds Residential Care or PAWS.
A private service will be held at St. Paul's Cemetery in Allagash, Maine on Saturday, June 18 at 1pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home
