William E. Hill Jr., aka "Bill Hill" passed away in Winterville, ME on October 16, 2023. Bill was born in Lynn, MA on December 2, 1945. He was the son of the late William E. Hill & Esther Junkins Hill. Throughout his life, Bill lived in Lynn, MA, Byfield, MA, Raymond, NH, Derry, NH and for the past few years in Winterville, ME with his son Billy and his son's fiance, Rachel.

Bill is survived by his three children, Christina Snyder of Raymond, NH, Tami Defrancesco of Nottingham, NH and his son, William E. Hill III of Winterville, ME along with their significant others. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Katelyn Brown, Courtney Daigle, Colby Malo, Meghan Malo, and Anthony Defrancesco, as well as four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Savannah, Aubree, and Sadie.

Bill was the oldest son of 13 children (7 girls and 6 boys) and is survived by his 3 remaining siblings: Richard Hill, Jerome Hill & Maryanne Amico, along with many nieces and nephews.

Bill was very proud of his family and loved them all.

Bill loved dancing and music, and also flirting with women. He would regularly check in to say "Hi' and eat a cookie with the ladies at Hannaford & Market Basket.

Most of his friends will remember him from hanging out at Dunks and his many stories. He loved telling the one about his "nice rack".

He was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School in Lynn, MA and served for the United States Air Force. Bill spent most years doing what he loved, driving his truck, and was so proud of his son Billy for doing the same. "Hills Heavy Hauling". When Bill was semi-retired, he spent his last 10 years working at the Derry Transfer Station.

We are all going to miss him a lot and will think of him often. Anytime you see a bottle of Pepsi, a nice truck, or anytime a picture is taken we will think of him saying "CHEESE"

Burial will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303-2413, on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 3pm, with TAPS and military honors.  A Celebration of dad's life will follow at the American Legion Hurd Welch Post 90, 32 Harriman Hill Road, Raymond, NH 03077.
