Madawaska---Winifred Ouellette, 92, passed away on April 23, 2012 at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Connor on October 7, 1919, daughter of the late Cyrill and Adele (Martin) St. Pierre. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary in Madawaska as well as the Daughters of Isabella, St. Thomas Circle #546. She was a very active member of the Forever Young Club in Madawaska. Winnie is survived by one daughter, Della Levesque and her husband Eldon of Phoenix, AZ; three sons, Robert Ouellette and his wife Caroline of Van Buren, Philip Ouellette and his wife Martine of Cromwell, CT, Francis Ouellette and his wife Mary of Plainville, CT; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister, Edmay Beaulieu of Caribou. She is predeceased by her husband, Claude J. Ouellette; by one grandson, Robert Ouellette, Jr., and by several siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Friday. Interment will be in the parish cemetery immediately following the service.
