Fort Kent --- Yvette Lucille Freeman, 96, beloved mother, grandmother
and
great grandmother
died on October 30,
2018
at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born on May 3,
1922
in Millinocket, the daughter of William and Yvonne (Bechard) Levesque. She was a 1939 graduate of Stearns High School in Millinocket. Upon
graduation
she relocated to Connecticut and worked for the war effort until she married Pierre Z. Freeman in 1943. They moved to Fort Kent at that time where she was a lifelong resident. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Christopher Freeman (Judy), Carolyn Daigle (Richard), Mary Crowley (Timothy), Peter Freeman (Wynne), John Freeman (Mary); nine grandchildren, Christopher, Jason and Matthew Freeman, Richard Daigle and Melanie Hartt, Adam and Steven Crowley, Tyler and William Freeman; four
great grandchildren
, Daniel Morgenthaler, Jaxon and Jameson Freeman and Keegan Daigle; one
step granddaughter
Jackie Eye and two
step grandchildren
Jadynn Blackstone Eye and Riley Eye whom she thought of as her own; two brothers, William Levesque and David Levesque. She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Pierre (Pete) Freeman of 63 years, brothers Kenneth, and Robert Levesque and sister Loanne Gould.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
11am
on
Saturday
November 10,
2018
at St. Louis Catholic Church in Ft. Kent. Family and friends may call prior to the service at the Lajoie – Daigle Funeral Home in Fort Kent from
10:00am
until
10:45am.
