Fort Kent—Yvette (Boutot) Madore, 88, died peacefully on May 21, 2021 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. She was born in Fort Kent, July 14, 1932, daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Dubois) Boutot. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Josephat Madore; one son, Larry Madore and his wife Johanna; one daughter, Debbie Madore; three granddaughters, Jill Madore, Lynn Cossaboom (Phil), and Jessica Lowry (Zachary); one great-grandson, Evan Harlow; one sister, Vernette Rioux. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Yvonne (Dubois) Boutot; two brothers, Lester and Clarence Boutot; one sister, Mildred Cyr; one great-grandson, Samuel Sturgeon. At her request, there will be no viewing hours. A graveside service will be held 2:45pm Friday, May 28, 2021 at the St. Louis Cemetery in Fort Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O Box 867 Presque Isle, ME 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle funeral home.
