Obituary

Van Buren--- Yvette M. Nadeau, 74, peacefully entered into rest September 13, 2019, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. She was born February 25, 1945 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Dionne) Dubay.

Yvette last worked in the housekeeping department of Borderview Nursing and Rehab over 10 years before her retirement in 2004. Previously she worked many years at a Presque Isle shoe manufacturer. She had a contagious and very recognizable laugh. She was always a dedicated worker and consistently put her friends and family before herself.

She is survived by: her two sons, Anthony Nadeau and his wife Mary of Truth or Consequence, NM, and David Nadeau and his wife Annie of Caribou; eight siblings, Rita Facchini, Cecile Martin, Clarence Dubay, Jim Dubay, Beatrice Rossignol, Jeanette Noe, Fidel Dubay and Philip Dubay; two grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlyn; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Yvette was predeceased by her husband of over 37 years, Albert R. Nadeau in 2004, and two brothers, Roland and Roger Dubay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Main St., Van Buren. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in Grand River Cemetery, Van Buren. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
