St. Francis --- Yvette Thomas, 69, passed away on October 9, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 24, 1949, daughter of the late Albert and Jeanne (Dufour) St. Onge. Yvette loved the outdoors and spent many hours gardening, tending her flowers, and fishing. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Bernard Thomas; two children Tina Theriault and her husband Thomas of St. Francis, and Glen Thomas and his wife Jean-Anne of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Cody, Tiffany, Samantha, and Nicholas; five siblings, O'Neil St. Onge, Geraldine Levesque, Georgette Michaud, Rinette Courtier, and Bernadette Grandmaison; along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Delores Plourde, and her grandson J.J. Thomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the St. Charles Church in St. Francis. Interment will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
