Fort Kent-- Zilda Madore, 85, of Eagle Lake Maine passed away peacefully on Oct. 8, 2021 at the Aroostook House of Comfort Presque Isle, ME. She was born in Eagle Lake, ME Oct. 15, 1935, daughter of the late Octave and Delina (Michaud) Bernier. Zilda was loving and caring to all with a smile that could light a room. She loved children and her faith community. She was a member of The Lady's of St. Anne, The Lady's Auxiliary and the Columbiettes. She is the last remaining sibling of a large family of 7 sisters and 3 brothers. . She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Madore who passed in 2011. She leaves 2 sons Mark Madore of Florida, Gregory Madore of New York and, a daughter Melissa Madore of Massachusetts. Her grandson Jacob Madore from Florida. Her goddaughter, Wendy Burgess and her godson Jared Burgess both from Connecticut. She has many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home in Fort Kent from 8-9:30am the morning of the service, October 13, 2021.
