Fort Kent--- Marie Gilda St. John, 89, passed away peacefully September 3, 2025, at a Hartland nursing home, following an extended illness. She was born in Fort Kent on October 29, 1935, a daughter of the late Friole and Leona (Dubay) Caron Jr.

She is survived by one son, Paul Douglas DeMaroney and his wife Kim DeMaroney of Kennewick, Washington; two granddaughters, Nadia and Jesse; three great grandsons, Malachi, Charles, and Clark; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Gilda was predeceased by all of her siblings.
